Boutique physical modeling

Real physics.
Not samples.

Reso Audio builds audio plug-ins from the equations that make real instruments ring. Every plate, string, and drum is solved from a physical model, not recorded, so it responds continuously to every velocity and every note.

What we make

Instruments, modeled from first principles.

A sample library plays back what a microphone once captured. A physical model computes the sound as it happens, from the material, the geometry, and the way you strike it. That is the whole difference, and you can hear it the moment you push the dynamics.

Our engines are modal and finite-element solvers written from scratch, shared across the family through one physical-modeling core. The result is a small catalog of focused, honest tools rather than a wall of presets.

Why it sounds different

Built on real physics.

01

Solved, not recorded

Modal and finite-element solvers compute each resonance from material and geometry. Nothing is a stitched-together sample or a static impulse response.

02

Alive at every velocity

Because the sound is generated in real time, a soft touch and a hard hit are genuinely different events, not two layers crossfaded together.

03

One honest core

Every plug-in shares a single physical-modeling engine. We ship a few focused instruments we can stand behind, not a catalog padded with presets.

Who is behind it

A small studio with a physics habit.

Reso Audio is the plug-in studio of Benjamin Guerrero, an independent developer and music educator. Boutique by choice: every instrument is built, tested, and supported by one person who cares how it sounds.
